A gap exists in occupational therapy (OT) education related to preparing entry-level practitioners to implement evidence-based social skills and peer-mediated interventions (PMI) with children. Although PMIs are well-supported in the literature, opportunities for hands-on application within OT curricula remain limited. The purpose of this doctoral capstone project was to develop and implement an educational program focused on increasing OTD students’ knowledge, confidence, and competency in delivering PMIs, aligning with the capstone focus areas of program development and education.
