Comprehension and use of diverse language functions are necessary for academic and social success, yet paraprofessionals often receive limited training in modeling. This study examined the effect of communication partner training (CPT) using the POWR+ strategy on the number of language functions modeled by paraprofessionals to AAC users in self-contained classrooms.
