Parents need to learn how to support augmentive and alternative communication (AAC) use to facilitate their children’s communication skill development; however, Spanish-speaking parents have been under-represented in investigations evaluating caregivers’ learning strategies to support AAC implementation. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of a telepractice-based training and coaching intervention on Spanish-speaking parents’ use of communication partner strategies (CPS) during shared storybook reading (SSR) activities with their children with complex communication needs.
