When aided modeling is provided to students who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), an increase in a variety of language comprehension, language development, literacy skills, and social communication occurs. Communication partner interventions are essential for school staff working with students who utilize AAC. This investigation examined the effect of ImPAACT training on the percentage of utterances modeled by teachers to students in the classroom setting.
