Many researchers have documented the benefits of narrative intervention for bilingual children, using English intervention materials and measures. However, there is a lack of work examining the use of the first language. This investigation examined the effect of Spanish narrative intervention on the Spanish story retells of sequential bilingual Spanish-English preschool children.
