The Effect of a Complexity Approach on Speech Sound Disorders in Spanish-English Speakers

Effective interventions for child with speech sound disorders (SSDs) are essential to avoid prolonged treatemtn duration. Studies have showed that conducting interventions in a second language instead of the child’s native language results in limited gains in speech sound production. This investigation examined the Complexity Approach in Spanish with Spanish-English speaking children with SSDs.
