Aphasia rehabilitation that addresses cultural and linguistic features for Black persons with aphasia (PWA) remains underexplored in communication sciences and disorders. This study evaluated the effectiveness of a culturally modified Response Elaboration Training (m-RET) program on discourse recovery in African Americans with nonfluent aphasia.
