Children and adolescents diagnosed with neurodivergent conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, learning disabilities, and attention deficit disorder can experience challenges related to sensory processing, executive functioning, social participation, and participating in daily activities. These challenges limit the performance of life skills needed for independent living. Essential life skills include self care, domestic, financial, job, social, and communication skills. These essential skills improve psychosocial well-being and independence in daily activities. The purpose of the Wellness in Motion is to develop a community program that provides life skills training to adolescents aged 13-21 years. This program will teach life skills through experiential learning.
