As the population ages, there is an increasing demand for occupational therapists to support the health and wellness of older adults. Incorporating spirituality into holistic care is essential, yet the literature on this topic within occupational therapy is limited. Yoga, an evidence-based intervention, fosters holistic health by integrating activities that engage the mind, body, and spirit. This program aimed to develop, implement, and assess a 4-week spirituality-based yoga program for community-dwelling older adults to determine whether spirituality-based yoga improves daily spiritual experiences and self-efficacy in yoga practice.
