Facilitators and Barriers for Faculty Adoption of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Occupational Therapy Education

Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) is transforming higher education. This transformation is driven by student adoption, which is outpacing that of instructors and supervisors. The study explored the use of GenAI among occupational therapy (OT) faculty to identify its facilitators and barriers using a Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT)-based survey.
