Cognitive and functional decline associated with neurodegenerative disorders impacts participation in meaningful occupations. The reviewed literature demonstrated that adult daycare centers provided supervision and stimulation; however, the continuous development of person-centered models, using meaningful activities tailored to each individual, could further improve the quality of life for the attendees. This project proposed a business model for “La Casa de Abuelo”, a center specializing in neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s in early and moderate stages. “La Casa de Abuelo” provided a comprehensive approach through a personalized program of therapeutic activities led by the perspective of occupational therapy and incorporating other complementary approaches. The objective of the proposed business plan was to maintain function and improve the quality of life for the participants.
