Beach volleyball is a high-intensity, intermittent sport requiring repeated explosive actions, vertical jumps, sprints, and rapid changes of direction, performed on an unstable sand surface. Despite the sport’s growth at collegiate and professional levels, evidence-based nutritional strategies for female beach volleyball athletes remain scarce, and no studies have examined creatine monohydrate (CrM) supplementation in this population or in a gummy delivery format. The purpose of this randomized controlled trial was to examine the effects of 10 weeks of CrM gummy supplementation on countermovement jump (CMJ) height, change-of-direction speed (CODS), body composition, and reaction time in female beach volleyball athletes.
