The purpose of this investigation was to determine if education about the psychometric properties of assessment tools influences the selection of language assessment tools used in the evaluation of child language skills by speech-language pathologists (SLPs). This investigation also tracked SLP’s perception of their own knowledge and confidence in the diagnostic decision-making process.
