Respiratory and bulbar muscle weakness is common in myasthenia gravis (MG) and may negatively impact cough effectiveness and airway clearance, increasing the risk of pulmonary complications. Kuroiwa et al. highlighted the importance of assessing cough strength and cough efficiency in individuals with MG. This study investigated the impact of respiratory muscle strength training (RMST) on cough strength in individuals with myasthenia gravis.
