Current return to activity (RTA) guidelines recommend further medical referral and advanced medical management for patients who fail to make a significant recovery by 6 weeks following EHS. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine the effects EHS has on neurocognitive performance, cerebellar motor function, and the presence of depression symptoms using repeated measures at 1-week and 6-weeks following hospital discharge. Repeated measures were chosen to explore the natural history of potentially impaired primary outcomes in the 6-week post-injury period.
